Looking for something to do? Gather friends and go axe throwing! Although I am not very good at throwing axes, I had an amazing time.
Axe throwing is a group game, in which everyone is paired up and throw an axe in attempt to hit the bulls eye as close as possible. Each person gets 5 throws, and then points are calculated to determine the winner.

During this event, I wanted to capture the flying axes. I ended up using a fast shutter speed (1/1600), but in order to have proper lighting, my ISO was bumped up to almost maximum, which resulted in a bit of grain in the photos. I think I don’t mind this grain/noise too much. Of course, this issue could have been solved by using an external flash set up on the other side of the fence.
