Shooting in April

It was a cold day (like most days in April). I just finished taking photos of my husband (you can check out that photo collection here) and now it was my turn to pose in front of the camera. I’ll be honest, I am not too pleased with how I look on photos at the moment – I am not at my perfect weight. And, how I see myself in the photos is very different from how I see myself in the mirror. But, I figured it’s like hearing your own voice on a recording – it’s different because it’s not how you imagine it in your head.

Thankfully I got photoshop to help me create the best version of myself in these photos: a little adjustment here, a little tuck there. Lately I have been trying to use less and less adjustments to the body, and just focus on adjusting the lights and shadows. I got to learn to accept myself, and if something needs changes, focus on diet and work outs instead of hours of photoshop.
